Got Balls?!

No dirty thought please!
Literally, there's a trend on my Facebook page, any soap I made with balls gets commented and talked about.  What's with balls that people just love to see?!  Is it the work it's involved?  Is it the cuteness?  You tell me!

New Mojito (now with balls)

Pink Sugar (more balls)

Strawberry & Champagne (made 2 versions and still, people just want the one with balls!)
Nautica (by "pressure" I used guess what?! balls again!)
Cocolime (are you tired of balls yet?!)

  4. You inspire me so much! I go through phases when I soap--I haven't done ball soaps in a long while. I really love how you use them to divide layers.

  6. I am fairly new to soap making. Are the "balls" made out of soap?? Do you make them youself?? Is it hard to make the small ones??

    Thanks for any help.

    1. Yes, those balls are CP soap, roll into balls while still soft like dough.

  11. The spheres or balls provide the element of surprise in your soaps like a great novel that takes a twist and turn. I love how your spheres are coated sometimes in a dusting of color. Beautiful colors. I like your inspiration by travel which inspired me to take a look when I went to Florida last week. I have a new design to come out soon from Key West inspiration.

  13. I love soaps with balls :D I´m just wondering how you know where to cut your soaps so you don´t just cut a little piece of the soap balls?

    1. I mark my mold with tick marks of where I'm cutting and place those balls at the approximate locations.

    1. Sorry I don't know Spanish. I am not a teacher, I only share my soap techniques. If you make soap you have to find out what recipe(s) is best for you.
