It's only December but my mind is already in Spring! Can't blame me for wanting to skip Winter when it's so colorful in the Spring with all kind of blooms.
Let's start with the first bloom of Spring - Ume Blossom.
Ume is Japanese word for plum. Plum trees can blossom as early as February. They look very similar to cherry blossom which happens usually in the early April.

Gorgeous, as ever! And the fuschia color of the Ume Blossom? Oh, my!
ReplyDeleteI cannot stop wondering how do you always get such wonderful colours!? They look su unique,as if you blend them yourself.
ReplyDeleteWonderful!
Thanks Diva Soap! I do usually blend my own colors. The dark fuchsia in Ume Blossom is a mix of 3 different micas and dyes!
DeleteHow you get this mix of colours so lush? Especially Ume Blossom. Oh my God !!
ReplyDeleteThe dark fuschia on Ume Blossom top is a mix of 3 mica & dyes. It is dispersed in oil then drizzle on wet soap top to get that intensive color.
DeleteThis is art in its purest form.
DeleteCongratulations.
Nice job, love the Ume Blossom one. That pink is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful soaps, Emily! I always find myself thinking one season ahead with my soaps, too, so they have plenty of time to cure. I love the black and purple together in the Ume Blossom, and the swirls in the Sweet Pea and Wild Honeysuckle are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBoth of these soaps are just too gorgeous for words. I am just stunned with how bright and beautiful the Wild Honeysuckle is...WOW! =)
ReplyDeleteI am just in love with all your soap. They are so beautiful that I want to hang a picture of them in my house! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, love the green& yellow! Marieke
