No dirty thought please!
Literally, there's a trend on my Facebook page, any soap I made with balls gets commented and talked about. What's with balls that people just love to see?! Is it the work it's involved? Is it the cuteness? You tell me!
New Mojito (now with balls)
Pink Sugar (more balls)
Strawberry & Champagne (made 2 versions and still, people just want the one with balls!)
Nautica (by "pressure" I used guess what?! balls again!)
Cocolime (are you tired of balls yet?!)
Hi,hi, this post was fun! No, not tired of balls!
ReplyDeleteThey all are exceptional!
I love your balls, i love your soaps, all of them - WOW!!!!!!! ;o)))
ReplyDeleteHow fun and pretty! Your mojito looks like you put Mickey Mouse in the front slice.
ReplyDeleteYou inspire me so much! I go through phases when I soap--I haven't done ball soaps in a long while. I really love how you use them to divide layers.
ReplyDeleteThe new cocolime soap is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteNever!!
ReplyDeleteI am fairly new to soap making. Are the "balls" made out of soap?? Do you make them youself?? Is it hard to make the small ones??
ReplyDeleteThanks for any help.
Rhonda
Yes, those balls are CP soap, roll into balls while still soft like dough.
DeleteI've been told i need more practice rolling spheres. You've got it down perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteAfter having just made my first hand rolled soap balls I take my hat off to you ~ they take work! And all your soaps look amazing xxx
ReplyDeleteI am never tired of your soaps, neither without nor with balls :-)))
ReplyDeletegorgeous soaps! color and joy in these soaps .. perfect alchemy!!
ReplyDeleteThe spheres or balls provide the element of surprise in your soaps like a great novel that takes a twist and turn. I love how your spheres are coated sometimes in a dusting of color. Beautiful colors. I like your inspiration by travel which inspired me to take a look when I went to Florida last week. I have a new design to come out soon from Key West inspiration.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful soaps - you really have an eye for creative design!
ReplyDeleteI love soaps with balls :D I´m just wondering how you know where to cut your soaps so you don´t just cut a little piece of the soap balls?
ReplyDeleteI mark my mold with tick marks of where I'm cutting and place those balls at the approximate locations.
DeleteIt's a very distinctive look and it really makes your soap pop right out and I just love it!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Emily! I especially love the Nautica and New Mojito.
ReplyDeleteWow those are amazing looking! I love the pink sugar, that's so vibrant.
ReplyDeleteWow.. those look great. Making soap balls is time consuming... you have patients. Thanks for sharing :)
